Benson Henderson Returns To Grappling at F2W 134

Fight 2 Win has already gone to work on their first event of 2020 with F2W 134 and it’s going to be a big one. They’ve managed to book a main event where Benson Henderson takes on former IBJJF world champion, Marcio Andre. With no other details for the card, this match alone will make it well worth the watch as two phenomenal grapplers take the stage.

While Henderson fights in Bellator right now, he was a WEC and UFC champion once upon a time. He finished with an 16-4 combined record across both promotions and wins over some of the best Lightweight fighters of the time like Donald Cerrone, Nate Diaz, Frankie Edgar and Gilbert Melendez.

Benson Henderson is also no stranger to the grappling circuit, having won a bronze medal at brown belt in the IBJJF world championships and another bronze in the no-gi edition at black belt a few years later. In more recent years, he’s had several matches on professional grappling events over the years, including an insane match against AJ Agazarm back at Polaris 6.

Marcio Andre on the other hand is a veteran grappler with a 2-1 record at Fight 2 Win, including a stunning victory over Kennedy Maciel at Fight 2 Win 118. Alongside his No Gi World Championship, Andre also has three European titles and several podium placements at the world championships both in and out of the gi.

Fight 2 Win 134 takes place on January 24th 2020 in Scottsdale, Arizona and for tickets to the event, click here.
