Ben Askren vs. Demian Maia is a “Done Deal” for UFC Singapore
It looks like two of the most dominant grapplers in mixed martial arts are about to meet. Former ADCC champion Demian Maia and Olympic wrestler Ben Askren are set to clash in a 5-round UFC main event in October, at least that’s according to Askren.

Demian Maia is a former two-time title contender and widely considered to be the best grappler to compete in UFC history. Askren is known best for his phenomenal NCAA career and a great MMA stint which has seen him win gold in both Bellator and ONE.
Maia is riding a 2-fight win streak and Askren is looking to get back on winning ways after suffering his first career loss against Jorge Masvidal. UFC Singapore goes down on October 26th.
