Dillon Danis Undergoes 7 Hour Knee Surgery

Dillon Danis has just revealed on Instagram that he has come out the other side of an incredibly lengthy session of reconstructive surgery on his knee. Surprisingly, this has come after he has only recently been seen on crutches after surgery on his right knee to repair a damage to his LCL and meniscus. This was what led to his proposed fight on Bellator 238 on January 25th, 2020 to be cancelled. Danis uploaded a photo of himself on Instagram with the following caption:

“7 hour surgery to reconstruct my knee today this has been one of the toughest tests of my career, but i’m fully committed to take it head on and come back stronger than ever you can break my body but never my spirit! ????”

Regardless of the fact that Dillon Danis has had something of a mixed response among fans, nobody wishes a dramatic career setback like knee surgery on anyone. This is sad news for anyone who is looking forward to seeing him expand on the perfect 2-0 to his MMA career, similar to late least year when fans of him competing on the BJJ scene were sad to see him forced out of ADCC 2019.
