Gordon Ryan set to face Rousimar Palhares

Gordon Ryan really doesn’t stop. The 24-year-old BJJ “bad boy” is set to take on his next opponent in just a few short weeks.

Rousimar Palhares will look to silence Gordon’s “GOAT” trash talk on Sunday, October 6th, at World Jiu Jitsu Festival at Long Beach City College.

Love him or hate him, Gordon Ryan is entertaining, and a fantastic grappler. Whether he’s setting his Instagram followers on an Instagram “model”/influencer or submitting his opponents with an “80% knee”, Ryan seems to constantly be making headlines.

Meanwhile, former UFC fighter Rousimar Palhares has a long record behind him. Of his 15 professional fighting submission victories, 11 have come from leg locks. Palhares also has a bit of a reputation for not releasing his submissions immediately after a tap or signal from a referee.

May the better man win.
