A black belt since August 2020, Samuel Nagai was a two-weight Fight To Win brown belt champion. To-date, Nagai’s biggest accomplishment as a black belt might his third-place finish at the 2020 IBJJF Pans, but he also holds notable wins over a number of elite competitors, including Gianni Grippo, Marcio Andre, and Richar Nogueira, all of which took place on the Fight To Win stage.

Nagai’s opponent, Edmaicon Moraes, finds himself as a three-to-one underdog. A professional MMA fighter with a record of 4-1, with three wins by way of armbar, Moraes is likely in an uphill battle against the more accomplished jiu-jitsu competitor in Nagai.
