Garry Tonon to face Yoshiki Nakahara May 17 at ONE Championship: Enter the Dragon

Garry Tonon is wasting no time getting back in the cage. His next match is scheduled for May 17, 2019 against Yoshiki Nakahara in Singapore at ONE Championship: Enter the Dragon.

The BJJ black belt under Tom Deblass and Ricardo Almeida started his MMA career a little over a year ago. Since then, he has been undefeated, with four stoppages. Tonon’s last fight was against Anthony Engelen at ONE: A New Era. Thus far, the Danaher Death Squad member has been representing his team well in MMA.

Nakahara, meanwhile, has been undefeated since 2015. Both fighters appear thirsty for victory, having exploded onto the scene and dominated ever since.

The headliners of the May 17th event will be Shinya Aoki and Christian Lee. Aoki will seek to defend his lightweight title. The co-main event will determine the inaugural ONE Super Series lightweight kickboxing title, putting Nieky Holzken against Regian Eersel.
