Jocko Willink Gives Advice On Injuries, Ego and Going Hard

Jocko Willink is an incredibly popular figure in the BJJ community as the US Navy Seal, BJJ Black Belt and owner of Victory MMA and Fitness in San Diego, California, has been delivering inspiration and motivation by the boatload for years now. Willink has got this status from the multitude of appearances he has made on the Joe Rogan Experience, and from his own podcast where he regularly gives out advice not just for BJJ, but for life in general as well. He’s also renowned for his savage ground game and being in fantastic physical shape, at around 230 lbs of lean muscle he’s capable of giving any BJJ Black Belt a difficult time.

In the above video, Willink answers questions from his viewers that lead him on to a few different topics like injuries in BJJ, the presence of ego in the sport, and going hard in training. Willink films his podcast with his long-time friend and training partner, Echo Charles, who received his black belt from Willink himself less than a year ago. The podcast does some fantastic work for the BJJ community in the form of encouraging a constant stream of fresh white belts. Both the Jocko Podcast and the Joe Rogan Experience frequently revisit the benefits of training BJJ or MMA and regularly encourage their viewers to take the plunge.

Jocko Willink is probably best known for his Instagram page, which is full of motivation and a constant reminder that he wakes up at the crack of dawn to get the most out of his day. Click here to follow his official Instagram page.
