Nicolas Cage to Star in New Movie “Jiu Jitsu”

Writer/Director/Producer Dimitri Logothetis has created a sci-fi martial arts movie entitled “Jiu Jitsu” starring Nicholas Cage and Alain Moussi.

The movie will be based on a comic book of the same name, also written by Logothetis. Cage’s character will assist in defeating an alien invader named “Brax”, who comes to Earth once every six years to face an ancient order of grapplers.

When asked about the new movie, Logothetis credited his success with his “Kickboxer” franchise to the launch of this new project. With this new direction, he is aiming to bring “the same kind of intensity and longevity to a new arena.

The movie will feature “no holds barred fight sequences set in exotic Burma”, according to Logothetis.

Cage will bring the majority of the star power to the movie, having received an Academy Award for “Leaving Las Vegas” and a nomination for “Adaptation”. More recently, he has been seen in “Mom and Dad,” “211,” and “Mandy,” and his voice was featured in “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.”

WME and Stride Management represents Cage, the Characters Talent Agency and Peter Meyer Management represents Moussi and Logothetis.
