Submission Underground 10 Announcement

The SUG10 poster just dropped to announce a huge main and co-main for the next card. At the top is Gordon Ryan vs Gabriel Gonzaga in a massive no-gi submission event. The co-main has a battle of the leglocks, with new school Craig Jones battling the veteran Dean Lister.

Chael Sonnen’s event is going from strength to strength, bringing in some of the biggest names in the sport for the next installment. Submission underground never fails to impress, and the 10th edition of the submission only show comes to the Roseland Theater and UFC fightpass on December 22nd.

Gordon Ryan looks like he’s going to have a busy close to the year. Just after announcing his match against Rousimar Palhares comes another heavyweight bout against Brazilian mixed martial artist Gabriel Napão Gonzaga. These fighters will bring the physicality to the event.

In the co-main event new school meets old. Craig Jones, maybe the best leglocker of this generation, meets Dean Lister, the man who inspired John Danaher to go down the leglock path. Are modern tricks going to win out against the knowledge of the man who inspired it all? Anyone who likes the dark arts is going to love this one.

Elsewhere on the card are 8 more matches with black belt competitors, including tag team BJJ. Whatever happens, SUG10 is going to be an exciting, explosive event, and we can’t wait to see it.
