Video: UFC Middleweight Sean Strickland Goes Off on ADCC Champion Orlando Sanchez

A recent training session between current UFC middleweight fighter Sean Strickland and ADCC champion Orlando Sanchez went a bit off the rails. In a video uploaded to social media, then YouTube, we see Strickland lose his cool on Sanchez, hitting him with a spinning back fist and a kick to the gut after Sanchez performed what he believed was a “dirty move.”

Watch the video below and judge for yourself.

After Sanchez cranks an overhook a little too hard for Strickland’s liking, Strickland goes off, telling Sanchez that it’s a “d*ck move.”

“How is that a d*ck move? It’s grappling,” responded Sanchez.

Ultimately, after some words and an attempted restart, the training session was called off after Strickland complained that his arm was injured.

Sean Strickland is currently the no. 11-ranked UFC middleweight and is riding a four-fight win streak dating back to 2018. He is scheduled to face Uriah Hall next month in his first-ever UFC main event.

Orlando Sanchez also has professional MMA experience, but is better known for his grappling accomplishments. He was a 2015 ADCC world champion and a 2017 ADCC silver medalist. Sanchez has not competed since the 2019 ADCC, when he lost a close match to Nick Rodriguez in the quarterfinals of the heavyweight division.
