Watching live sports is special; the unpredictability, the opportunity to witness an upset and the chance to see the best skills in the world on display. There is only one thing that can add to the drama of it all and that is placing a cheeky bet on the outcome of a match.
Throughout my years watching MMA, I have always been partial to the odd flutter, but sadly the opportunity to bet has been lacking for professional BJJ. Polaris Professional Jiu Jitsu Invitational have announced today that they have joined forces with MyBookie to provide odds for Polaris 9, which goes down in London, England on March 15th.
MyBookie released the odds for Polaris 9 today and there is definitely some value in the market. One potential bet that immediately jumps out is Rafael Lovato Jr. at -180. Given that Lovato Jr. is a much more accomplished grappler than Shields and is in the prime of his career, it seems as though he is great value at that price.
