Ashley Williams vs. Joao Miyao set for Polaris 12

Everybody loves a good rematch.

After their scintillating match at match at Kasai Pro 6, many thought Ash deserved the victory over Miyao, but it was ruled a draw, which meant Miyao proceeded from his group and eventually took home the tournament championship.

Ashley Williams is the reigning Polaris Lightweight champion and will be dropping 20lbs to make bantamweight for this rematch. Williams will be looking to prove that he is one of the best grapplers in the world and defeating Miyao would cement himself as one of the top 3 grapplers on the planet right now.

While Williams will be cutting a lot of weight, he will have home field advantage as the event is set to take place in Newport, Wales.

Polaris 12 takes place at the brand new, multi-million pound International Convention Centre (ICC) in Newport on November 30th and will air on UFC Fight Pass.
