Fight 2 Win Announces Lucas “Hulk” Barbosa v Roberto Jimenez
Fight 2 Win 137 is set to take place in Denver, Colorado on March 7th and has just had the main event announced as Lucas “Hulk” Barbosa v Roberto Jimenez. Barbosa is a very decorated grappler, having won countless IBJJF opens and being the proud owner of five IBJJF World Championships but Jimenez is no slouch himself. Despite only recently being promoted to black belt, Jimenez has won countless tournaments at the colored belts and recently beat one of the best grapplers on the planet at Flograppling’s Who’s #1, Keenan Cornelius.
This is the latest announcement in a jam-packed schedule for Barbosa, including an upcoming match with the Danaher Death Squad’s own Nick Rodriguez at Third Coast Grappling’s first ever UK event.
Lucas “Hulk” Barbosa v Roberto Jimenez promises to be an action-packed main event that will help us see if youth can beat experience. Jimenez is still relatively green at the age of 19 compared to Barbosa’s 28, but it’s worth mentioning that Jimenez has been training since the age of 4. He’s one of the new age of grapplers who’ve been choking fools for as long as they could walk and we should see how valuable those early years of training really are on March 7th.
