ADCC 2019 Results: Gordon Ryan Into The Final

Gordon Ryan got off to a very strong start yesterday with quick two submission victories and looked ready to repeat that feat today. He drew someone who could offer a match for his physicality in Hulk in today’s first semi-final. Vinny Magalaes and a newcomer at ADCC 2019, Vinicius “Trator” Gazola met to determine who faces him in the final of the -99kg division.

For the second time today a whole division’s Semi-Finals have ended in decisions. This time Ryan was safely in the lead against Hulk as he took his back toward the midway point of the match. He ended up securing a 3-0 victory on points as Trator booked his place opposite Ryan in the final with a 2-0 victory over Magalaes. This guarantees Ryan a medal in his weight before he no doubt tries his hand at the Absolute later today.
