Grapplefest 8 Results – Undercard and Main Card

Grapplefest 8 is over and done with and after bringing yet another blockbuster event to the UK, the full results are in. We took the time to get an insider’s look into the lesser known matches you wouldn’t want to miss and they sure didn’t disappoint. There were finishes all throughout the card and even the preliminary matches delivered their fair share of great grappling action.

The main surprise came from Kade Ruotolo defeating the current Polaris champ champ, Ashley Williams to claim the 70kg Championship title. Dante Leon also had an amazing showing against the other half of the Ruotolo twins, Tye Ruotolo, who put up a fantastic fight and didn’t lose any hype in losing to Leon. The main event title match between Jon “Thor” Blank and Adam Wardzinski delivered great action too as Thor is quickly making a name for himself and adding this title belt to his collection can only help. The finish of the night might belong to Ben Hills who took this slick Triangle Armbar finish over Stefan Petrov below:
