WNO Championships 155-Pound Bracket Complete: Musumeci, Martinez, Maciel and More

The Who’s Number One (WNO) Championships are set to take place on September 25-26, and FloGrappling has announced the full eight-man bracket for the 155-pound division. Simply put, the field is stacked with the best competitors in the world, including Mikey Musumeci, Geo Martinez, Kennedy Maciel, and more. View the full list of competitors below.

With these competitors, the amount of interesting match-ups is seemingly endless. First and foremost, rivals Musumeci and Martinez seem to be on a collision course following their match at The Road to ADCC and Musumeci’s inflammatory comments following the match. Musumeci — who is undefeated in no-gi competition this year — defeated Martinez by points.

Kennedy Maciel is another competitor to keep an eye on. An IBJJF no-gi world champion and ADCC silver medalist, Maciel holds recent wins over fellow tournament competitors Martinez, Josh Cisneros, and Diego Oliveira.

Also in action will be the always-entertaining Kade Ruotolo. He is coming off a loss to Roberto Jimenez in one of the best matches of 2021, but he’ll be competing here at his natural weight class. With his all-offense, submission-oriented style, he seems tailor-made for the submission-only ruleset utilized by WNO. He holds a recent submission win over fellow competitor Ethan Crelinsten.

Every competitor in this field has the skills and ability to win the tournament, and fans should be salivating at potential match-ups, all of which should produce fireworks.

How to watch: The WNO Championships take place on September 25-26 and will air exclusively on FloGrappling (subscription required).
